Master Consulting Group
Master Consulting Group is the umbrella organization for two corporations, Master Benefits Agency, Inc. and Master Management Services, Inc. The company was formed in July 1992 and integrates human resources, benefits strategies and service. Master Benefits Agency acts as independent agents/brokers/consultants of employee benefits, including group insurance and retirements plans. Master Management Services provides consulting expertise throughout the spectrum of human resources.
Master Consulting Group features a comprehensive strategic planning process called “The Funnel”:
• the human resource strategy is derived from the overall business strategy.
• the benefits strategy is derived from the human resource strategy.
Once the strategic picture is clear, the full service involves a brokerage function that shops, identifies and negotiates the best benefits product value that reflects the strategic concept. Once the benefits product is installed, the service assignment is to make it do what it is supposed to do: attract and retain employees.

It was one of the 14 Ohio companies selected for the “Blue Chip Award” by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce in 1999. In 2000, MCG was selected as the Beachwood “Business of the Year”. MCG co-founded the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC), 128 chambers representing 36,000 businesses, in 1993.
