ADVISORY PARTNERS
Advisory Partners act as special advisors to Glengary, primarily assisting with due diligence and serving on the boards of Glengary client companies, as and when needed.
Our Advisory Partners have been successful C-Level executives with major organizations, specializing in specific business skills. They seek participation in an enterprise that combines an economic and community value creation process, mutually benefiting Glengary investors as well as both the Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio regions.
The following more specifically reflect ways in which Advisory Partners add value to Glengary and its client companies:
- Work with Glengary Management in performing due diligence on selected potential client companies,
- When requested by Glengary Management, participate in investment decisions, especially if and when any conflicts of interest exist,
- Work on short-term leadership assignments with client companies where specific skills are required or deemed relevant,
- Work with Operating Partner selected to manage client company, when or where required by Managing Operating Partner or Glengary Management,
- Work with Glengary Service Partners and Educational Partner in the development of such relationships with a particular focus on developing and educating such Partners in entrepreneurship and commitment to the community,
- Sit on boards/advisory boards of selected client companies,
- Act as the primary screen for investment opportunities outside of Northeast Ohio, and
- Attend Operating Partner meetings, when available.
