CLIENT COMPANIES

Glengary focuses its investment efforts on companies in which we can add value primarily through the use of our Operating Partners, Advisory Partners and Service Partners. As such, during our initial review of an investment opportunity, "Glengary focuses its investment efforts on companies in which we can add value primarily through the use of our Operating Partners and Service Partners."we determine whether or not a prospective client company would materially benefit from the involvement of our time and effort. If we feel our involvement would make a meaningful difference to the success of the prospective client company, we will propose making a financial investment. We expect to invest approximately 50 percent of our capital in client companies in which we have a meaningful involvement of time in the day-to-day operations of the company for a defined period of time.

We recognize that not all of our client companies will need day-to-day assistance with their operations. Therefore, if there is not an identified need for one of our Operating, Advisory and/or Service Partners to become involved with a company, we determine whether or not there are other ways in which we can add value. Such assistance may be at the board level, serving on an advisory board, with strategic planning and business development, introduction to customers, fundraising, and other project-oriented activities.

Industries on which we focus our activities, and which are reflective of the industry experience of our board, Operating, Advisory and Service Partners, include applied technologies, business services, consumer products, healthcare services and products, and software. Further, we expect to invest approximately 80 percent of our capital and 90 percent of our Operating Partners' time in the Northeast Ohio region.
