DEBORAH MILLS-SCOFIELD

Ms. Mills-Scofield is formerly Director of Internet Public Policy at AT&T and has her own consultancy focused on business and strategic planning for the Northeast Ohio market. She also works with RSR International, a Chagrin Falls-based international strategic alignment group. Ms. Mills-Scofield has 20 years of experience in strategic planning and implementation in the internet, E-commerce, telecommunications and health care industries ranging from multinational corporations to early-stage companies.

Ms. Mills-Scofield started at AT&T Bell Labs and holds a patent for an integrated multimedia messaging service. She was instrumental in getting AT&T to recognize the Internet's impact, working with AT&T's senior executive management to support AT&T's entrée into that new market. She spearheaded the overall AT&T internet and E-commerce strategies, business plans and execution, including AT&T WorldNet® Services.

Ms. Mills-Scofield is active within the community, contributing significant time to her church, and to Lake Ridge Academy, where her son attends.

Ms. Mills-Scofield is a graduate of Brown University (1982), having completed her degree in three years and helped to create the Cognitive Science concentration.
